Cheesecake ice cream with liquorice stripes
Home made cheesecake ice cream is paired with liquorice sauce, fresh berries and crushed biscuits. A great dessert or a treat for a summer day! The recept makes a total of about 1 liter of ice cream.
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 200 g natural cream cheese
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 dl powdered sugar
- 1 big tin of double cream (3,33 dl)
- about 1 dl of liquorice sauce (please see recipe for liquorice sauce)
- 200 g of fresh berries, e.g., highbush blueberries orraspberries
- 6 oat biscuits
Instructions
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whip the cream. Wash and dry the beaters. Whip the egg whites until fluffy. Place the cream cheese, egg yolks and sugar in a bowl. Mix until even. Mix the whipped cream into the mixture and gently add the whisked egg whites while stirring the mixture.
- Use a suitable tray to layer the ice cream with the liquorice sauce, crushed biscuits and fresh berries. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for approximately 4 hours.
